The upcoming hunting season opens with several new cartridges in Fiocchi Munizioni’s offering. In Total, The Fiocchi Family has launched 7 new shotgun cartridges in 12ga, 20ga and 410ga. The latest additions to the Family are: 12 gauge JK6 33: This cartridge is loaded with the glorious JK6 B Swedish powder, designed for shooting small prey and useable in all 12 gauge shotguns. SUBSONIC: Low-noise subsonic cartridge with low recoil and high stopping power, thanks to its 35 grams loading. It is ideal for hunting from the hide and for training gundogs, as it allows them to progressively get used to the sound of shotguns. Also highly effective in shot size 7.5 for clay shooting beginners, thanks to the smooth recoil and the generous pattern, it makes it easier to break the clays and increases the enjoyment for the newcomer on introduction to our sport. HP 36: High-performance cartridge designed only for modern shotguns (proof at 1320 bar). Thanks to its high pressure and speed, it suits a cold climate and “well-dressed” prey during the winter period. Available in shot sizes from #0 (Ø 3.9 mm) to #10 (Ø 1.9 mm), it covers the entire range of prey, from geese to small migratory birds. SLUG STEEL: Steel slug cartridge, particularly suited to wild boar hunting. Recommended not only where lead is forbidden but, given the high energy it develops (3600 j, the equivalent of a cal. 30-06), it can be a valid alternative to rifles. This cartridge can be used in all modern shotguns with any choke. 20 gauge GM3: This cartridge, suitable for small prey, takes its name from homonym propellant.
