One silver and two bronze medals: this is the result of the Italian national team at the IBU World Cup in Kontiolathi.

In Finland, the Italian team climbed three times on the podium thanks to good races on the skis and to excellent performances on the shooting range, where they can count on the precision and reliability of the Fiocchi Munizioni Biathlon line cal. 22.

In the women's relay, the quartet composed by Samuela Comola, Dorothea Wierer, Federica San Filippo and Lisa Vittozzi won the bronze medal, first seal of the season in this discipline.

The other two medals came from the Pursuit race, thanks to two perfect performances at the shooting range: Dorothea Wierer signed an unbelievable comeback and won the silver medal without any shooting mistake, Lukas Hofer made only one mistake and won the bronze, his first medal in this season.

“Congratulations to the Italian biathlon national team for these three medals which enrich this seasons’s showcase - said Daniele Palmieri, Fiocchi Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer - There are still two stages left until the end of the international season: we are sure that the Italian team will continue to win and give us great satisfactions".
