Three gold medals, two silver ones, the clay shooting international season opened with a bang for Fiocchi Team, who climbed on the podium in five out of five events in Acapulco (MEX). In the women’s Trap final, the opening match of the competition, Italy’s Jessica Rossi climbed on the highest step of the podium, finishing with 45 hits out of 50 targets. Also, on the podium of the team event, Great Britain’s Kristy Barr placed 3rd, claiming the bronze medal. New Zealand’s Chloe Tipple and Italy’s Gabriele Rossetti both closed in 2nd place, respectively in the women’s and men’s Skeet event. Along with their medals, Rossi, Tipple and Rossetti also pocketed one Olympic quota place for Tokyo 2020. The second stage of the 2019 ISSF World Cup Series will take place in Al Ain (UAE) from April 5th to April 16th.
