Rome, June 10, 2026 – Institutions, representatives of the Armed Forces, members of the political establishment and protagonists of the Italian system gathered to celebrate Fiocchi's 150th anniversary with a panel dedicated to Defense. A high-profile moment that highlighted how innovation, tradition and responsibility must converge in contemporary strategies: precisely the approach that has defined Fiocchi for 150 years. A company that has always known how to unite artisanal mastery and evolutionary drive, playing a crucial role in the Country's Defense and security – and beyond.
The forum, titled "Defense Industry Between National Security and Global Scenarios: Innovation and Logistical Needs," was held in Rome at the magnificent Terrazza Civita and featured the participation of several authoritative voices: Gen. Carmine Masiello (Chief of Staff of the Army), Lt. Gen. Assorati (Director of Land Armaments, Ministry of Defense), Sen. Maurizio Gasparri(President of the Defense Commission) and Michele Nones (Vice President of IAI). The discussion was moderated by Flavia Giacobbe, journalist and Director of Aripress.
After the greetings from President Stefano Fiocchi, there were also speeches by Alexander Ruestig (CEO of Fiocchi Munizioni S.p.A.), David Chour (Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors – Chief Operating Officer of CSG), the Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto, and the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy Fausta Bergamotto.
Among the event's distinguished guests were also Gen. Giovanni Di Blasi (Head of Land Armaments), Gen. Mauro D'Ubaldi (Deputy Secretary General of Defense), Gen. Giovanni Maria Iannucci (Commander of the Joint Operations Command), Gen. Giovanni Balestri(Deputy Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force), Adm. Marco Tomassetti (Commander of the 8th Amphibious Division of the Italian Navy) and Prefect Paola Mannella (Head of the Administrative Office of the Department of Public Security).
The evening concluded with a networking moment and the distribution of "Fiocchi. 150 Years of Italian History" (Rizzoli, 2026): the monograph marking this milestone, a chronicle of 150 years of authentic excellence grounded in industrial vision and a deep sense of responsibility.
Rome's event has thus confirmed Fiocchi's 150th anniversary as a genuine platform for meeting and dialogue: the celebration of a historic milestone that is also an opportunity to redefine the present and look ahead. In the spirit of that "Legacy in Motion" which has always defined Fiocchi: rooted in solid heritage and driven forward by its vision for the future.
