The international shooting sport season couldn’t have started in a better way: Jessica Rossi, 2012 Olympic Champion in London, won the first World Cup gold medal at stake in Acapulco, where the first stage of the season is currently underway, crushing 121 clays out of 125 in the qualification round and ruling the final with the score of 45 out of 50. Moreover, the 27-year-old born in Cento secured one of the two Olympic quota places up for grabs in the event. For Rossi, it’s the third World Cup gold medal of her career, which also includes three World Championship titles – won in 2009, 2013 and 2017 – one World Cup Final trophy and the Olympic title won at London 2012.
