Over 600 athletes from 86 nations gathered in Lonato del Garda, Italy, to participate in the 2019 Shotgun World Championship, a competition that turned into a real triumph for Fiocchi and its team. Our company became the protagonist of the championships thanks to all the athletes who chose the quality of Fiocchi’s ammunitions in their quest for gold. The total tally recorded at the end of the competition speaks for itself: Fiocchi’s athletes collected 11 medals, including 5 golds, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals. In the men’s Trap competition, it was Mauro De Filippis who claimed the individual silver medal, that came along with the team’s gold pocketed by the Italian Team, formed by three Fiocchi’s athletes: the same Mauro De Filippis, Giovanni Pellielo and Valerio Grazini. Another gold medal was secured by Australia’s James Willett, who won the Trap Mixed Team competition, the new Olympic discipline due to debut at the Tokyo Games next year. In the Double Trap event, Fiocchi’s team turned out to be almost unbeatable.
