An unforgettable weekend for the Italian National Team. At the IBU World Cup in Kontiolahti (FIN), the Azzurri combined speed with great precision in shooting, turning out to become the main protagonist of the weekend. Among all, the brightest star was LIsa Vittozzi’s one, who showed her undeniable talent and closed the competition with a Gold medal in the Mixed Relay, and two individual medals — a Silver and a Bronze. The first one came in the Sprint race, where she finiahed in 3rd place, just five seconds behind the winner — Belarus’ Darya Domracheva — and also following Germany’s Franziska Hildebrand. The revenge for the young athlete from Sappada came the next day, when she climbed on the highest step of the Mixed Relay podium alongside Dorothea Wierer, Dominik Windisch and Lukas Hofer. A podium that also gave Italy the World Cup trophy in this specific event. On the final competition day, then, Lisa put the icy on her cake, securing the silver medal in the Mass Start race, stepping on the World Cup podium for the third time in three consecutive days. “A phenomenal athlete that never ceases to amaze us and that will still give us many satisfactions — said Marzio Maccacaro, Sales Director of Fiocchi Munizioni — We are extremely proud of supporting Lisa and the Italian National Team.”
